Because we were unable to post photos on the entry dated January 1, here are the photos that we intended to accompany that entry. They show the bakkie on the ferry at the beginning of our trip across the Okavango River to Seronga, and the grass chalet, with its outdoor sink and shower, that was our accommodation at Gudigwa.

I'm sure that the hut was larger than it looks, but, it doesn't even look like you could get through the door without ducking! I assume, there was no reason for a window. I want to know which one of you crazy people made the claim that this place was reasonably "plush". I guess running water, and a bed may well be better than nonrunning water, and no bed, and given the alternative of sleeping under the stars, I guess "plush" may be a good word! In case you're wondering, the Chicago Bears are playing the New Orleans Saints in the NFC championship game this weekend, January 21, and the Indianapolis Colts are hosting the New England Patriots for berths in the Super Bowl. The Kansas basketball team is doing well (ranked #6), Missouri, and started the season very hot, have cooled off since the Big 12 season started, but they gave Kansas a hell of a game on Monday the 15th, in Lawrence. Unfortunately, they are 0-4 in the Big 12. Be safe,
Kathy and Jim O'Hara
