Tuesday, May 30 and Wednesday, June 1: Jeff's first two official days on the job consisted of a staff meeting, with all colleagues present. Several work in the office in the Tocadi compound here, but several spend much of their time in other villages, supervising various development projects located in those villages. We will occasionally post information about the projects and villages, since Jeff's responsibilities include assisting the project teams.

The blog will now cease to be chronological, and will become episodic instead. In other words, we will post whenever we have random topics of interest. We will try to post at least once per week.
